How can I have more traffic in my blog

New bloggers make their own blog but later traffic does not come, then think that maybe our SEO is not friendly, maybe our domain name is wrong, blog design is not right. Some such thoughts keep coming.

But if your blog has been 6 months and still the traffic on the blog is coming to little or no, then you must read this post. One thing to keep in mind, I am talking about organic traffic here and not social media traffic. Let's start.

1. Domain Name

The beginning of any website/blog starts first with the domain name itself. By the way, you can take anything from the domain name, but keep in mind that your domain name is as short as possible and if possible, take a domain that matches keywords. The short domain name is SEO friendly.

2. Blogspot vs WordPress

Most new bloggers have this confusion about which blogging platform they choose or say on which platform will get more traffic.

The simple answer for this is if you have a lot of budgets then you should use WordPress from the beginning. If you do not have a budget, you can use the free platform blogger of Google. It is not that people say that WordPress gets more traffic than a blogger.

If you are going to start serious blogging, then I would recommend WordPress only because if you start with a blogger and then migrate bloggers to WordPress as traffic increases then you will face a lot of problems. I also had a lot of problems.

3. Hosting Provider

Some people want to take free hosting but they do not know that you will take free hosting but when traffic starts coming on your blog and when you want to change the hosting then that free hosting provider will ask you for content backup.

So it would be good to use a good hosting right from the beginning. I am currently using Hostgator India hosting. If your target audience is Indians, the best Hostgator will be Bluehost.

4. Niche / Topic

Now it comes to choosing a good topic/niche. Friends new bloggers often choose the same topic/category in which CPC is high or whose searches are more. Most bloggers make a mistake on this.

You have to choose your niche according to your interest. See, you will never get success in blogging while watching others. First, you identify your interest, then select the topic/niche.

5. Blog Theme and Theme Design

There are many WordPress themes, blogger themes available on the Internet. You can use any SEO friendly, mobile-friendly theme. But keep in mind one thing that there are many themes on the internet which if there is a premium, but you can download them for free.

I would recommend you not to do this at all. Those themes are actually unsafe, your blog can be hacked any day. If you do not have a budget, then it is better to use a free seo friendly theme.

6. SEO Basic Settings

When you first create a blog, then you have to do some SEO related settings. Such as whether to index the blog in search engines or not. Make sure all your basic and advanced settings are done well.

7. Website / Blog Loading Speed

Now comes the blog loading speed. Make your blog as fast-loading as possible. The sooner your blog is open, google will give your blog a better ranking.

8. Regular Post Update

Now it comes to update the content. Whether you do part-time blogging or full-time blogging, you should set a regular timing of writing your post as if you have to write a post in a day or you have to write a post in two days. With this, your blog visitors will know that you update your blog regularly.

One of its biggest is that google will index your posts properly. Your website/blog will always be updated in Google's eyes.

9. SEO Friendly Post

You have to write a post that lets Google know what you have written about the post. Like if you write a post about how to increase traffic on the blog, then you will have to mention this keyword in your blog.

Writing a Seo friendly post involves some of the following things such as: -

(A). Content

Content is the king, that is, for any blog, its content is king. The biggest hand in ranking any post in Google is the content written in it. Read below to improve the content

Headings - If you want traffic to come on your blog, then you have to use headings in your posts. This is also necessary for google and for your readers. H1 is by default in the title of the post, so you should use h2 and h3 more in the post.

Researching - Before writing any post, do thorough research on it. Give complete information and in such a way that even a schoolchild can understand.

Paragraphs - People often make only 2 or 3 paragraphs in a 1000 word post but it is wrong to do so. Never make more than 4 lines of paragraphs.

Content-Length - You have to write the length of your content in such a way that the information given by you is read well. You do not have to put any unnecessary content.

Quality Content - Always write quality content only. By writing anything, traffic will not come on your blog.

(B). Keywords

If you want to increase the traffic of your blog, then you have to use keywords in your post. Without keywords, your post will be as if someone shoots an arrow in the dark. If your blog is new, then I would recommend you to use long-tail keywords. Use the following tools to find keywords.

Google Keyword Planner Tools

10. On-Page Seo

The post written SEO friendly belongs to the on-page SEO, which I have told you earlier. If you want to rank your blog in google then you have to do on-page SEO which includes the following things like-

Blog design

Include keywords correctly

Setting Meta Title well

Write meta description properly

Writing a post with the Search Engine in mind

Internal linking

External linking

Blog Images Seo Friendly

If you use WordPress then I would advise you to install Yoast SEO plugin. This makes your work much easier.

11. Off-Page Seo

As it is known from the name itself, the way we work inside the page in the on-page SEO, similarly we work outside the page in the off-page SEO, such as-

Getting social media to drive traffic to your blog

Use of forums

Increase blog traffic by creating high-quality backlinks

12. Comment Reply

When someone asks a question on your blog, please reply to the comment. This is also considered a good gesture for Google.

13. Other Blogs Comments

Whenever you are a little free, then read the blogs of others and also make a good comment. This will increase your knowledge and the number of your links will also increase.

14. Guest Post

To increase your blog traffic, almost all bloggers will advise you to post a guest. With these people start knowing your blog and the biggest advantage is that you get a natural backlink. While posting a guest on any blog, keep in mind that his blog has Domain Authority and Page Authority High.

15. Forums

This is the best and easiest way to grow Blog Traffic. If someone is facing some problem in a forum and you have written a post about it, then share the link of your post there. You should answer the queries of people on a high-quality website like Quora.

16. Social Media Shares

If your blog is new then obviously it will take time to get traffic from google. Therefore, you should share your website/blog as much as possible on social media sites. To take traffic from social media, share your websites on the following sites-

Facebook Page

Linkedin

Twitter

17. Trending Articles

If you want to boost your blog traffic quickly, then write a post on an article that is trending. Like there was a time when the jio trend was going on. You can write articles about festivals.

18. Update Your Old Posts

You have written a post, it does not mean that you do not have to see it now. You have to continuously update every old post.

Thanks for now. Comment below if you have any question
